I tried it today - actually tastes a lot better, albeit similar to Red Bull and the original V.

Would happily drink it....just maybe not a 500ml can...took me a while and by the time I got halfway through....it was warm.

Love the marketing on the can:

"NEW! Tastes nothing like the old one!"

and "best drunk freeze your nuts off cold"

or even "Now when a mate turns up with a wussy-sized can, you can raise your MOTHER up and proudly say: did yours come with a man-bag?"

A few years ago everyone said it would be impossible to top Yahoo! as a search engine. Of course, many tried and eventually Google gave it a run for its money. Now it's number one.

I see this energy drink market in a similar way. Red Bull can only lead for so long, eventually the right product will come along and crack the market.

At this stage it's safe to say it won't be Mother... but Pure Energy, I'm not going to write them off yet.

Great idea, it seems cloud computing is all the rage these days even in music. The only first mover advantage that I can see is if they were locking people into contracts because really I am going to switch to the company that has the best music collections, if one company does not offer my favourite obscure Australian Hip Hop group, I am going to go to the provider who does.

They should bust people for fare evasion and then spend the advertising money on putting up "named and shamed" posters with photos of those that have been busted.

It then positions fare evasion as a chance to almost lose the right to ride the train - would you be game to catch the train and sit near a poster that had your photo on it and which named you as a fare evader?

The posters would also engage people on the train because they would be trying to match people to the posters!

I believe the Simple Pack containing say 6 cans of Red Bull is a wise idea if the Simple Pack is sold for a price lesser when compared to the total price of 6 cans of Red Bull bought individually.
The smaller cans as against the larger ones makes sense as it would be handy at any sporting events. It would also provide just the right amount of energy at that instant.

It just doesn't scream 'I am your new beer of choice' does it. Alcohol advertising is a complicated area due to regulation. However, this just seems weak.

Often green products seem disingenuous. I thought being green is about changing business and personal practice to reduce you emissions.

Creating a product that is simply ‘carbon neutral’ is, perhaps, simply a lesser enviranmental sin. It does not reduce a companies impact, (whilst, also not growing.
